Had appointment at 9am, the hateful people at the door would not let us in because not an Executive member. Wait time is extremely long, the guys are working hard but not enough bays or help. Have bought tires from Costco for years but this is the last set.

I took my car to the Costco Tire Service Center for a tire rotation and balancing, since I originally purchased the tires there. After the service, the Costco Tire Service Center employee informed me that there are damages to the lugs on two of the tires. When I brought this to their manager's attention, I was told they would not cover the repair and that I would need to submit a claim through their third-party insurance administrator, Gallagher Bassett. I followed that process. In my experience, communication with the insurance company was slow and often unhelpful. My claim was ultimately denied on the basis that there was no evidence the damage occurred during my visit, despite my statement that no other shop had worked on the tires since my previous service at Costco. I was frustrated with how the situation was handled and did not feel my concerns were adequately addressed by either party. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion.

I tried to be patient with the Tire Center since I know they have lots of customers and vehicles to take care of. However, the receptionists that check you can be rude at times. I’ve had two experiences where I came in for my rotation and balance with an appointment and my car was not balanced correctly. So now I have to take more time out of my day to bring the vehicle back and basically wait in there long queue. No apology or “Hey, we will squeeze you and make you priority.” I will never buy tires from Costco or batteries. Just too much of a headache to deal with them and I will be taking my business to Discount Tire down the street.

Never again. It’s not enough that their time estimate is always off, the guy at the desk was super rude on top of it. (Guy on right side wearing mask) We had an appointment and have been here over 2 hours. They still haven’t brought our car around. When I handed them my keys 3 minutes early to my appointment, I asked how long will it take?” He said “the regular amount of time” I said “I’m sorry I don’t understand.” He said “however long it takes.” I said “can you give me a time frame?” He said “1.5-2 hours” This was just a balance and rotation with an appointment. No more tires from you, Costco! Edit 2.5 hours. Still nothing

I wish 0 was an option. Just need a simple tire rotation. Booked an appointment ahead of time. Waited an hour and then went up to ask an ETA, they said it would still be another 30-45 minutes. IT DOES NOT TAKE THAT LONG TO ROTATE TIRES. WHAT IS THE POINT OF AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO ABIDE BY IT?? I am a loyal Costco member but will NEVER use this tire center again. Waste of time and complete disregard for their customer's time.
